What’s it like working with Denise?

Denise is so straightforward. There isn’t any fluff with her. Everything that she says adds value, so when you listen to her teaching you don’t have to wade through all this extra information. She gets right to the point. I love that she is so sweet and nurturing, but also tells you exactly how things are. It’s the perfect combination.

What was your Money Bootcamp journey?

I bought bootcamp after I was laid off. I was working a corporate job, but I was so miserable. It was completely soul sucking. I was doing some copywriting at the time, but I had made about $500 – so I hardly even considered it a side hustle.

I knew I wanted something to be different, so when I found Denise I took her advanced manifesting course. I wrote all these intentions down on January 1, 2019. Things like going full time in my business by April, having 10k months … then on February 21, 2019, I got laid off.

“My first thought was, ‘Oh my gosh, I’ve manifested my layoff.’”

I knew that losing my job was a true now or never moment. It really kicked me into gear to reach the goals I had for my business, so I enrolled in Money Bootcamp and didn’t look back.

How has Money Bootcamp helped your life and business?

I didn’t grow up around entrepreneurship. I hadn’t really seen it in action, so I didn’t have the confidence to make it work for me, too.

I’ve achieved so much in both my personal life and my business now that I never thought possible. Not because I was doubting myself, but because I didn’t even know it was a thing that people did.

“My biggest month so far has been $54,000! For some people – that’s an annual salary. It’s so exciting now to be on a journey where that kind of money flows into my business in just a month.”

What’s your biggest “aha” since joining Money Bootcamp?

My biggest immediate change was the power that decluttering can have on you.

When I was decluttering, I found a few nice items that I wanted to sell. I was in a back and forth with this woman about one of them and she emailed me asking if she could have 70% off the item – just because.

I felt so furious at her request for a discount that I didn’t even respond right away. I just got up and went to take a shower. And the whole time, I was going over things in my head, wondering how I was going to handle this.

“I considered giving her the discount. I really agonized over it. Finally, I just told her no. She agreed right away, like it was no big deal. I couldn’t believe it. It was so easy to set that boundary.”
