What was your money situation when you joined Money Bootcamp?

I had a lot of self doubt before joining Bootcamp. Sure, there was money coming in from my business each month, but I had a huge case of imposter syndrome. When I booked a new client, I could not believe it – and when there were times when I had no clients, I thought it was all I was capable of.

For a few months before joining Bootcamp, I had not brought on a single new client. I knew I needed help.

Why did you join Money Bootcamp?

I was a little skeptical the first time I heard about Denise. I first read her book when I was a PhD student, but my thinking was wrong at the time. I thought that to be successful you need to have lots of struggles. You have to work long hours. So I was really fascinated by this idea of peace and prosperity, but I didn’t think it was actually possible.

But, I had just finished a health journey. I had lost a lot of weight and was in a position where I wanted to start fresh on more than one thing in my life.  So I decided to give myself a little gift and invest in Money Bootcamp. I wanted to see what it was all about.

How has Money Bootcamp helped your life and business?

My business is growing. I am bringing in new clients and now feel like I deserve this success. Something is shifting inside of me and I’ve noticed that I have started to believe in myself more and more. I feel more willing to keep investing more into my business because I am already seeing such good returns from it.

I feel so much more in control of my finances and confident to partner with my husband to make choices for our household.

How has your first year in Money Bootcamp been?

It’s so important to surround yourself with people that you admire. In the Bootcamp community, it’s so great because we can all be so honest with each other and share our fears. We can share our struggles and our wins – it doesn’t matter because the community is there for you either way. So you always feel that you can do it. Because like Denise always says, “You can take the next step because it's your time and you are ready for it.”
